This is a very early car and seems reasonably priced. I just wonder, is the bottom half a different colour to the top or is it just me? I notice that it has a chrome strip from a mark 2 but it looks ok. I am tempted I must say.

The paint does look a bit off, although it could just be reflections. Although it looks nice and is quite cheap I really wish people would close doors and bonets properly before taking photos! hammer

I think I might give them a ring after I've got some insurance quotes.

If you need someone to have a look, let me know, it doesn't look as if it's too far from here. I'll try and persuade B8R to come with me (for some balance Wink )

That looks quite smart, it's not often grey looks good on a car but on that it looks OK.

Two-Tone Rovers are the way to go! (sorry again Ste)

It's not a lot of money for (the nicer in my eyes) an S1 with red int, and on the road. £900 buys it? £100 on some new paint and smile, drive it. BUT. No MOT?

That's one of the things I'll ask the seller when I call them if the insurance quotes are favourable. I think it doesn't look bad. Is that ice alert on the front or is it something else?

I've phoned FJ about insuring it, and for 3k TPFT it will cost me £799.50, which is a little more than I thought it would be as when I got a quote for a Triumph 2000 with a higher value it was only going to be £610.50. I'm going to see if there are any other companies and work out if it's worthwhile from there.

Shocked

Bloody Hell, makes my £2000 quote on a '99 1 litre Micra look a bit steep... Laughing

If you think that's cheap you should have seen what they could have done for me with the Princess. For 3k TPFT it was only £426 iirc
