Sounds a nice honest car, cheap to buy, run and insure.

So why hasn't it sold?

I can see rust breaking through on the drivers side wing and possibly the rear arches, the pictures are poor, the engine is a mess and the wheel trims leave alot to be desired. Wink

Having said that for the price it is for sale at it seems perfectly reasonable, especialy as it is MOTd. I'd go for it if I had the money! Laughing

Yes I agree, they are very minor detailing issues, they wouldn't stop you from either using or enjoying the car, gives you something to put right too.

The seller has put the option of making an offer. You don't know until you ask Wink.

Haha, well its not too bad (It'd be worse if I owned it!) but if I was selling a car I'd want to make it look as good as possible before taking the pics. Wink
(And I get quite picky with cars!)

Sadly I'm having to save my money for new accomodation, so no cars for me in the near future! Laughing

Well, according to the 'time left' part on the page, the ad was only placed at 11am this morning so I don't suppose anyone's had time to go and look at it yet? shrug

It does look like a nice wee car, and certainly worth the money, so I'd wait and see if it's still around after the weekend. Wink

Seems very good value for money. My dad keeps wishing I had bought a Dolly or Toledo, so does my mum....

A car they actually like. But who wants to drive a car their parents like?!

Would make a perfect first car actually, much nicer than any Micra or Corsa and a damn sight cheaper to run.

Sold in the last 5 minutes.

I reckon someone got themselves a nice little motor there (just hope it hasn't gone to the Banger racers at that price).

Thought someone would have snapped that up once they'd had a chance to see it. Bargain I reckon. Wink

That is a pleasingly dirty engine bay. It's obviously not been tarted up for the for sale photos as it's dusty and it's got no obvious huge oil leaks. I'd rather see one in that condition than spotlessly clean as I would wonder what's going on.

Clean isn't always best....
